Kathmandu, April 30
On Tuesday, the stock market exceeded 2,000 points. Compared to the previous day, the NEPSE index increased by 25.93 points and remained at 2006 points. Similarly, the transaction amount has also increased at a high rate. The previous day’s turnover was Rs 2.95 billion, today the turnover was Rs 4.80 billion.
A total of 215 companies increased in value, 26 decreased, and 4 remained stable. Development Bank Group has grown the most on this day. Development Bank Group increased by 4.9 per cent.
Similarly, banking increased by 1.1 per cent, hotel and tourism by 2.53, hydropower by 1.62, investment by 1.13, life insurance by 0.96, manufacturing by 0.36, microfinance by 1.41, non-life insurance by 2.39, others by 0.30, Business increased by 0.75 per cent. The finance group decreased by 1.18 per cent.
Even in the companies that have increased in value, the development banks are at the forefront.
