Kathmandu, July 17
Onlinekhabar has appointed Basanta Basnet as the editor. Basnet assumed the responsibility on Sunday morning.
Onlinekhabar chairman Dharma Raj Bhusal and editor-in-chief Shiva Gaunle welcomed him to the team this morning.
On the occasion, Basnet said he was excited to join the leading online news portal in the country under the leadership of an experienced and committed editor-in-chief.
Gaunle also hoped Basnet’s presence in the team would make Onlinekhabar more accurate, balanced, credible and fairer. “Now, we will be stronger in questioning malpractices, discriminations and injustices.”
Previously, Basanta Basnet worked as the editor of Shilapatra online news portal and Nepal and Annapurna Today news magazines.
