Kathmandu, November 16
The Parliament on Wednesday passed a condolence motion on demise of CPN-Maoist Centre lawmaker Bhakti Prasad Pandey. The House adjourned its meeting till 1 pm on Friday, the Parliament Secretariat said.
At Wednesday’s meeting, Speaker Onsari Gharti read out the condolence motion.
After passage of such a motion, the Parliament adjourns without carrying on with its businesses.
Pandey, suffering from lung cancer, died in course of treatment at a hospital in Kathmandu on Sunday.
