Kathmandu, December 22
A passenger traveling from Hong Kong to Kathmandu on a Nepal Airlines flight was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
According to Ramesh Paudel, spokesperson for Nepal Airlines, Deuman Limbu, a 53-year-old from Taplejung, was found unconscious aboard flight RA 410. Airline staff handed him over to his relatives, who were present at the airport to receive him.
“He was found unconscious on the flight, and his relatives were already at the airport to receive him,” Paudel told Onlinekhabar. “He was rushed to KMC hospital, where he was declared dead.”
Paudel added that the exact condition of the passenger while onboard could not be determined. As per standard protocol, the passenger was sent to KMC Hospital, which handles emergency cases from the airport.
