Kathmandu, January 31
The 53rd meeting of SAARC’s Programmes Committee is taking place in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
In the capacity of current Chair of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation, Nepal is organising the meeting. Joint-secretaries at External Affairs Ministries of the eight countries tasked with looking after SAARC affairs will attend the meeting.
The meeting will dwell on SAARC activities that have taken place in course of the past 10 months, operation of the SAARC Secretariat and budget for the next year
