Samsung has released its most affordable M-series smartphone in Nepal: the Samsung Galaxy M04. It is the latest lineup to be featured in Nepal for under Rs 20,000. The phone is also featured with MediaTek Helio G35 chipset and RAM plus feature allowing its users to have up to 8GB of RAM.

Design and display
Samsung Galaxy M04 is similar to many budget phones in the market. The mobile has a glossy back panel with a textured look but feels smooth. The back is filled with a dual-camera setup and a flash. The phone has a thickness of 9.1mm and a weight of 188 grams.
The display on Samsung Galaxy M04 is a 6.5-inch PLS LCD HD+ display with a resolution of 720 X 1600 pixels. The pixel density on the phone is 270PPI and has a 20:9 aspect ratio. The bezels are good for the price point of the phone.
Performance and storage
Samsung Galaxy M04 has a MediaTek Helio P35 (12nm) chipset which is supported by a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone has an octa-core CPU, out of which four cores run at 2.3GHz and the rest four run at 1.8GHz. The operating system on the phone is OneUI Core 4.1 on Android 12.
The phone has only one RAM option, which is 4GB, and two storage options; 64GB and 128GB. The RAM, however, can be increased to 8GB with the feature called RAM Plus, which increases the RAM capacity virtually.
Camera
Samsung Galaxy M04 includes a dual camera setup on the back. The dual camera includes a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth camera. The phone can record video 1080P at 30fps.
The front camera on the phone is a 5MP selfie camera, which is very decent according to the price range of the phone.
Battery and others
The battery on Samsung Galaxy M04 is a typical li-po non-removable 5000mAh battery. The battery can be charged with the 15W charger that comes in the box. The port on the phone is a USB type-C 2.0 and also has a dedicated microSD card slot for you to increase your storage.
