With its flagship S23 series and A series being shipped worldwide, Samsung is also continuing its other famous M series with the launch of Samsung Galaxy M54 5G. Samsung has launched M54 5G in Middle Eastern countries now and it will soon be available in other parts of the world including Nepal.
The phone has been featured with a massive 6000mAh battery and Samsung-owned Exynos 1380 chipset which might be the biggest turn-ons in the Nepali market for its success.

Design and display
Samsung has brought up Samsung Galaxy M54 5G, which also shares the same design as the flagship S23 series. It has a triple camera setup on the back just like Galaxy S23 with a flash just beside the first two camera rings. It has a plastic back and a plastic frame and looks beautiful with a glossy finish. The display on the front is standard with thin bezels and a punch-hole front camera cut out.
The display size of Galaxy M54 5G is 6.7 inches with Super AMOLED Plus technology. The resolution on it is 1080 X 2400 (FHD+) with a max refresh rate of 120Hz. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 as protection for the front display.
Performance and storage
Galaxy M54 5G features the Exynos 1380 (5nm) chipset with Octa-core CPU. The chipset and the CPU will easily handle day-to-day activities such as calls, messaging, camera and social media with no problem and also gaming with the best performance. The GPU on it is handled by Mali G86. The OS on it is OneUI 5.1 with Android 13 supporting it.
It comes with 8GB RAM, which is the only option, but has two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. It also has a hybrid card slot, which takes sim and MicroSD cards. The MicroSD card can also be used to increase the storage of the fixed storage available with it.
Camera
Samsung Galaxy M54 5G has a triple camera setup, which includes a massive 108MP sensor as the main camera. The remaining two are an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. The rear camera has OIS and a digital zoom of up to 10X with autofocus. It can record videos of up to 4K at 30fps and 1080 at 30fps.
On the front is a 32MP camera, which is in a punch-hole style. The front camera, however, does not have OIS or autofocus. It can record videos up to 4K at 30fps and 1080P at 30/60fps.
Battery and others
Samsung Galaxy M54 5G has a massive 6000mAh battery, which supports fast charging of 25W. Its sensors include accelerometer, fingerprint sensor, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, light sensor and proximity sensor. It has a side-mounted fingerprint button for security and authentication.
It is available in two colours, which are dark blue and silver.
The expected prices of the Samsung Galaxy M54 in Nepal are Rs 55,000 and Rs 60,000 for the 8/128GB and 8/256GB variants respectively.
