Nepal’s legendary mountaineer Ang Rita Sherpa, also known as the Snow Leopard across the world, will receive state honours in his final rites.
Sherpa, 72, had died on Monday.
A cabinet meeting held on Tuesday made the decision to give him state honours in recognition of his contribution to promoting the country’s fame.
