A tractor hit a traffic policeman and killed him on the spot at Jaya Nepal Chok in Bharatpur metropolitan city-6 of the Chitwan district in southern Nepal.
The vehicle (Na 4 Ta 8829) heading towards Chok Bajaar from Mahendra Chok had hit Nepal Police Sub-inspector Arju Paudel riding on the motorbike (Na 16 Pa 315) at around 9 pm on Thursday.
A resident of Radhapur, Bharatpur-14 of the district, Paudel was stationed at the Chitwan District Traffic Police Office.
The Geetanagar Area Police Office has arrested the tractor driver for further investigation.
