Kathmandu, September 22
The Central Committee meeting of main opposition CPN-UML is beginning in Kathmandu today.
The three-day meeting to be held at the Central Office in Dhumbarahi of the capital is expected to finalise criteria for party’s candidates for upcoming elections of federal House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly.
Party’s Central Office Secretary Krishna Gopal Shrestha says the meeting will also review the party’s performance in three phases of local level elections among contemporary political issues.
Party Chairman KP Sharma Oli will present a political document to the meeting on the first day today.
It has been nearly one year since the UML held its last Central Committee meeting.
