Three parties break ice, agree on presenting budget-related Bills before no-confidence motion

Kathmandu, July 22

The protracted debate on whether to discuss budget-related Bills or the no-confidence motion against the KP Oli government first has ended, finally.

The Nepali Congress and the CPN-Maoist Centre showed flexibility at their meeting with the ruling CPN-UML that Speaker Onsari Gharti facilitated, on Friday.

The parties have decided to present the Bills first, UML Vice-president Bhim Rawal informed.

The Parliament meeting is to convene at 4 pm. First, the government will present budget-related Bills. After that, there will be discussions on the no-trust motion tabled against the government.

NC and the Centre have tabled the motion.

Meanwhile, the Centre has decided to vote against the Bills.
