Kathmandu, November 30
Supporters of Nepal’s main opposition party, CPN-UML, protested the government’s proposal to amend the new constitution, in Kathmandu’s Baneshwor.
The protest, organised by the UML’s youth wing, saw agitated opposition cadres vandalise a government vehicle (Ba 1 Jha 8113) near Parliament on Wednesday afternoon.
Earlier in the day leaders of former Prime Minister and UML Chairman KP Oli’s party said they will protest the government proposal to separate hill districts from Province 5.
