Kathmandu, December 14
China’s Communist Party’s senior leader and head of its Publicity Department is coming to Nepal on a formal visit on Saturday.
According to sources, Liu Qibao will be the top-most Chinese official to visit Nepal after Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal became the country’s chief executive four months ago.
During his stay in Nepal, Liu is to meet President Bidhya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and hi-ranking officials.
He will also attend the China Festival to be organised in Nepal, and an event organised by the China Study centre.
