Kathmandu, December 12
The Teachers Service Commission is preparing to call applications for over 12,000 government school teachers within a week.
The commission’s Chairman Madhu Prasad Regmi says the applications can be submitted online; hence, the commission is currently testing the online application system.
The commission is preparing to call applications for 1,042 positions of secondary teachers, 1,913 lower secondary teachers and 9,601 primary teachers.
As per the commission’s plan, the commission will conduct the first phase of examinations of candidates in February-March 2022. Likewise, the subjective examinations will be held in May-June and interviews will be held in August-September.
If the plan is effectively implemented, the new batch of teachers will be recruited by October 2022, which will be mid of the next school year.
