The A series from Samsung, comprising the most popular smartphones for the year 2024, has been officially released. Specifically, the budget and mid-range options, namely the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, Samsung Galaxy A15 LTE, and Samsung Galaxy A25 5G, are now official. These smartphones have been launched in Vietnam, and their arrival in Nepal can be anticipated soon.
The Samsung Galaxy A25 5G is the most powerful and feature-rich smartphone out of the three. It is the successor of the Samsung Galaxy A24. The A24 did quite well in the Nepali market going up against the Redmi Note 12 4G and 5G, Realme 11x 5G and POCO M5.

Design and Display
Like its siblings, the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G has the same design. It has new colours, including Optimistic Blue, Brave Black, Fantasy Blue and Personality Yellow. The back is made up of plastic and is flat. The back has a check pattern which looks unique. It has a triple camera setup on the back. On the front, it has a water-drop notch cutout which houses the front camera. The bezels are a bit thinner than the A24.
The Samsung Galaxy A25 5G has a Super AMOLED display with a size of 6.5 inches. It has a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels giving out detailed output and a refresh rate of 120Hz for smoother transitions. It has a peak brightness of 1,000 nits which is enough for bright areas too. The colours are vivid with a 16 million colour depth.
Performance and Storage
The Samsung Galaxy A25 5G is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1280 chipset built on a 5nm architecture. Its octa-core CPU combines two powerful Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz for heavy tasks and six Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0 GHz for everyday use. The Mali G68 GPU handles graphics for proper gaming and multimedia experience.
It runs on the Android 14 operating system with Samsung’s One UI 6 user interface. Samsung also provides 4 years of OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates.
