Kathmandu, December 10
Cadres and supporters of Nepali Congress and Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal clashed during a victory rally of the Congress in Rajpur of Rautahat-2 on Sunday.
Earlier, Congress leader Mohammed Aftab Alam was declared the winner in the constituency for House of Representatives.
Meanwhile, police opened three rounds of fire in the air and lobbed dozens of tear gas shells to contain the situation.
The District Police Office says an additional troop has been sent to the incident site.
