Kathmandu, November 11
Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army, Dalbir Singh, arrived in Kathmandu on a three-day visit to Nepal on Friday.
Singh’s visit comes days after India’s President Pranab Mukherjee visited Nepal. Singh is visiting Nepal on the invitation of Chief of Staff of the Nepal Army, Rajendra Chhetri.
NA said Singh is here to inspect Surya Kiran 10, a joint training of NA and IA.
Tara Bahadur Karki, NA Spokesperson, said Singh will inspect Surya Kiran 10 in Butwal on Saturday.
Last year, the exercise had taken plce in India.
Singh will call on Nepal’s President Bidhyadevi Bhandari and CoAS Chhetri. He will return to India on Sunday.
