
Kathmandu, January 15
The Election Commission on Monday has called political parties contesting the National Assembly elections scheduled for February 7 to submit specimen signatures of the party officials which will be used in nomination papers of their candidates.
The parties have been called to submit the name, position and specimen signature of their officials who will certify the nominations. The parties have to send a certified copy of the decision made by their central committee to use the official’s signature.
The details have to be filed by Wednesday. The application form for this purpose is available on the Commission’s website.
Earlier, total 21 political parties had registered their names to contest the polls for upper House.
