In a bizarre incident of crime, a woman in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City of Dang district on Wednesday night cut off four fingers of her husband, ‘roasted’ and ‘ate’ them, say police.
Law enforcers arrested 64-year-old Risami Mahatara this morning on the charge of injuring her husband, Chandra Bahadur.
The woman told police that she committed the crime in a fit of anger. She said the husband was drunk during the incident.
Meanwhile, the injured has been referred to a Nepalgunj-based health facility after the Tulsipur-based Rapti Zonal Hospital did primary treatment.
It has been learned that the victim has six wives and the accused is the first.
