The government has begun the distribution of the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine in the Kathmandu valley from Tuesday.
Officials say those who had received the first dose between January 27 and February 22 need to receive the second dose between April 20 and April 24 in the valley.
Different health facilities of the capital have been designated as vaccination centres.
Around 439,000 people who had been vaccinated with the first dose in the first phase of the vaccination campaign will get the second dose in this period, informs Dr Jhalak Sharma, the chief of the vaccination centre under the Department of Health Services.
