Janakpurdham, April 19
A bus hit killed three persons of the same family in the Mahottari district of southeastern Nepal, on Wednesday afternoon.
The victims have been identified as Amrit Mandal (26), his wife Anju (24), and the couple’s niece Anshu Mandal (6), residents of Kalyanpur municipality-10, of the Siraha district.
The bus (Ba 3 Kha 2396) hit a motorbike (Province 01-004-Pa 6819) head-on, along the Gaushala-Samsi road section, injuring three riding on the motorbike critically.
The Mahottari District Police Office says Amrit and Anshu died during treatment at the Shubha Swastik Hospital in Bardibas whereas Anju succumbed to injuries at the Trauma Centre Hospital in the same city.
