Kathmandu, August 12
A man has reportedly killed his wife in Guhyeshwari of Kathmandu on the wee hours of Thursday. Police say the suspect has already confessed to the crime.
The Metropolitan Police Circle in Gaushala says Ram Shrestha (23) strangled his 23-year-old wife Ranjana Tamang (23). The victim was in the sixth month of her pregnancy.
It has been learned that he had informed the police of the crime by calling at 100. He told the investigators that the murder was the result of a dispute.
DSP Keshav Bhattarai says further investigation is underway.
