Kathmandu, March 17
On the first day of the week, NEPSE experienced a double-digit decline on Sunday. Compared to Thursday, NEPSE dropped by 10.62 points, settling at 2,070.25 points.
The day’s turnover amounted to Rs 3.38 billion, with the prices of 84 companies rising, 150 decreasing, and 10 remaining stable.
Development Banks increased the most by 0.82 per cent, while Hotel and Tourism declined at the highest rate by 1.56 per cent.
Indicators of three sub-indices increased while all others decreased.
Development Bank increased by 33 points, Finance by 11 points and Manufacturing Group by 20 points. On the other hand, Banking went down by 7 points, Hotel and Tourism by 83 points, Hydropower by 29, Life Insurance by 20, Microfinance by 1, Non-life Insurance by 24, Others by 18 and Trading by 12 points.
