The stock market rose by 8.2 points on Sunday. After the increase of that number, the NEPSE index has remained at 1974 points and Rs 3.15 billion was traded today. During the day, 127 companies increased in value, 111 decreased and 7 remained stable.
The indicators of the three sectors finance, hotel and tourism and microfinance decreased, while the indicators of all other sectors increased. The index of non-life insurance groups increased the most by 2.6 per cent. Earlier last Thursday, the hotel group had the highest increase of 6.9 per cent.
The banking sector increased by 4 points, development bank by 42, hydropower by 3, life insurance by 122, non-life insurance by 272, others by 11, business by 31 and production group index increased by 93 points. Finance decreased by 18 points, hotel and tourism by 126 and microfinance by 57 points.
