Kathmandu, May 15
On Wednesday, the stock market index NEPSE decreased by 9.54 points reaching 2017. The previous day it had increased by 28 points. The turnover has also decreased. The previous day’s turnover was Rs 4.80 billion, today it decreased to Rs 3.70 billion. While 65 companies’ prices increased, 172 companies decreased while 8 remained stable.
The manufacturing group increased the most by 1.4 per cent while the development bank group decreased by 0.96 per cent. Based on points, Banking decreased by 5, Development Bank by 40, Finance by 8, Hotel and Tourism by 41, Hydropower by 19, Life Insurance by 19, Microfinance by 28, Life Insurance by 37 and other groups decreased by 15 points. The business group increased by 31 points and the production group by 89 points.
