Kathmandu, May 16
Nepal Communist Party chairpersons KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Saturday claimed that they were continuously working to make the truth about the Dasdungha incident that killed former CPN-UML leaders Madan Bhandari and Jeev Raj Aashrit public at the earliest following necessary investigation.
The two leaders issued a joint statement on the occasion of 27th Madan-Aashrit Memorial Day, commemorating the mysterious death of the duo and said, “The true information about the incident is yet to be uncovered. However, the public is not ready to accept the incident as a mere road accident. Many still take it as a conspiracy to mum the democratic and patriotic revolution led by Bhandari.
“We are committed to uncovering the truth.”
Both leaders have also talked about the party unification and assured that all necessary preparations for a campaign to strengthen the party and expand public support would continue further though it was affected by the coronavirus crisis.
