Kathmandu, February 21
Come (this) Friday, the oil shortage persisting for long will become less severe, so says the Nepal Oil Corporation.
Days after reopening of the Birgunj customs, stakeholders held a meeting at the Ministry of Supplies on Thursday.
The meeting decided to distribute 3,000 kl petrol and 4,500 kl diesel through fuel stations in the Kathmandu valley as the fuel supply situation has eased, NOC Spokesperson Mukunda Ghimire informed. Motorcycles and scooters will get up to five litres of oil, he said, adding that the four-wheelers will not get more than 15 litres of oil at one time.
