Kathmandu, July 31
President Bidya Devi Bhandari has administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai, who was nominated to the post on Wednesday evening.
Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara, National Assembly Chair Ganesh Prasad Timilsina and ministers were present on the occasion.
Following the oath-taking ceremony, Minister Bhattarai is scheduled to assume his office on Wednesday evening.
Bhattarai succeeds another NCP leader Rabindra Adhikari, who died in a helicopter crash in February.
