Kathmandu, January 21
Police say they have arrested three persons in connection with the murder of a sawmill operator in Rupandehi district on January 5.
SP Ghanashyam Aryal of the Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police says the suspects of the murder of Basanta Paudel ‘Balu’ will be paraded during a press meet in Rupandehi this afternoon.
Currently, the CIB is investigating into the case. They have suspected the involvement of absconding Manoj Pun’s gang in the murder.
Earlier, Pun had called local journalists to claim the responsibility of the murder. He is on the run after police suspected his involvement in the murder of local CPN-UML leader Durga Tiwari in December 2016.
