On Sunday, the stock market fell by 1.03 per cent. NEPSE closed at 2109, decreasing by 22.14 points compared to the last trading day. The market had risen continuously for the previous five trading days. A total of Rs 4.44 billion was traded throughout the day.
Twenty-nine companies increased in value, 215 decreased, while three remained stable. The index of the hotel and tourism group increased the most, by 3.37 per cent. Indicators of other groups have decreased.
The banking sector decreased by 0.87 per cent, development banks by 1.16 per cent, finance by 2.19 per cent, hydropower by 1.62 per cent, investment by 1.4 per cent, life insurance by 0.80 per cent, manufacturing by 0.86 per cent, microfinance by 1.78 per cent, non-life insurance by 1.01 per cent, others by 0.89 per cent, and the business group decreased by 1.23 per cent.
