Kathmandu, March 2
Gallery Mcube is showcasing The Thread Project, a collaborative exhibition by Argentine contemporary dancer and artist Constanza Bitthoff and Nepali multidisciplinary visual artist Manish Lal Shrestha. The exhibition kicked off on February 28 and will run until March 16.
According to a press statement, using thread as a metaphor, the exhibition explores themes of connection, identity, and interdisciplinary narratives, weaving together performance and visual art. The opening and closing days will feature a collaborative performance, with a special music composition by Moa Edmunds Guevara. Additionally, Bitthoff will present solo performances on March 4, 6, and 14, starting at 5 pm.
This unique cultural exchange invites audiences to reflect on the unseen bonds that unite people across histories and cultures. The exhibition will remain open daily from 11 am to 7 pm, with free entry.
For art enthusiasts and cultural explorers, The Thread Project promises an immersive experience that blends movement, visuals, and sound into a compelling narrative of shared humanity.
