Kathmandu, October 4
Police in Bhaktapur have arrested two persons on the charge of raping a 16-year-old girl in a parked public bus in the city.
Earlier, the Bhaktapur Metropolitan Police Range had received a complaint that three persons raped the child inside the bus (Ba 3 Kha 2612) at Liwali, Bhaktapur recently.
The police office says two of the suspects were arrested whereas one is still on the run. Police have launched a manhunt.
One of the arrestees has been identified as Nir Kumar Khadka (22), a resident of Sangachok Gadhi municipality-10 of Sindhupalchok. Khadka is the bus driver.
