Kathmandu, February 23
The government has appealed to Nepalis to stay away from Ukraine as far as possible in the wake of the recently developed Ukraine-Russia crisis.
In a notice on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged Nepalis staying there to come back home via regular flights unless they have something emergency there. Likewise, it has requested other Nepalis outside Ukraine to postpone visiting the country unless emergency.
The Nepali Embassy in Berlin, Germany, is in contact with 38 Nepalis in Ukraine and all of them are safe, the statement says.
