Nepal’s cricket team has defeated Namibia in the first of their two-match series part of the World Cricket league.
Winning the toss, Namibia elected to bat, and posted 195 runs in their allotted 50 overs. Nepal achieved the target in 47.1 overs.
Nepal’s star performers were Sharad Veshawker and Binod Bhandari who steered the team out of trouble after captain Paras Khadka’s dismissal early on.
The two sides play their second match on Monday.
