Hetaunda, February 4
Police on Tuesday made public five persons arrested for their alleged involvement in the murder of a transwoman in Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city-11 of Makawanpur district.
Ajita Bhujel was found murdered at Camp Danda, Hetaunda-5 on January 18.
Police arrested Simone Pariyar (18), Sushil Thapa Magar (25), Alisha Pakhrin (2), Ashish Bal (24) and Buddha Lama (21) for their alleged involvement in the crime. They were made public at the District Police Office today.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that Bhujel was murdered after she had a misunderstanding over money with the suspects after sexual intercourse. Further investigation is underway.
