Kathmandu, December 13
Leaders of three major political parties are meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar later today to discuss the fate of the government’s bill to amend the constitution, and the UML’s obstruction of Parliament proceedings.
This comes as Speaker Onsari Gharti requested Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to hold talks with Congress leader Sher Bahadur Deuba and UMl chief KP Oli to resolve the constitution amendment dispute.
The three leaders are expected to discuss the issues, along with the UML’s demands that election be announced at the earliest. A breakthrough in negotiations is not expected, said a source.
