Govt decides to make ministers’ asset details public

Nepal’s government has decided to release the asset details of the Prime Minister and his ministers.

A meeting of the Cabinet decided to release the information following reports questioning the government’s stance on the issue.

According to prevailing laws, anyone who takes government office needs to submit his/her asset details to the government within 60 days of appointment.
