A stunning bowling performance by Harsh Thaker, who claimed five wickets, led the Janakpur Royals to a nail-biting 1-run victory over the Lumbini Lions in the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
Thaker sealed the win for Janakpur by dismissing Sandeep Jora on the final ball of the match.
Chasing a target of 137 runs set by Janakpur, Lumbini managed only 135 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their 20 overs.
This marks Janakpur’s fourth consecutive victory in the league. With 8 points from 4 matches, the team has climbed to the top of the standings.
