The death of a man found in front of the Sano Pashupatinath Temple in Hanuman Dhoka has been confirmed as a case of murder.

Police launched an investigation after receiving information about the body early in the morning. A team from the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police and the Valley Crime Investigation Office took two suspects into custody for questioning.

The suspects were identified using CCTV footage, and both later confessed to the murder, a police official confirmed. According to the official, the accused admitted to striking the victim on the head with a bamboo stick, which has also been recovered.

Both suspects are under 18, so their identities have not been disclosed. They stated that the incident occurred on Wednesday night.
