On Wednesday, the NEPSE stock market index fell to 2006 points. Compared to the previous day, the NEPSE index decreased by 3.43 points. A total of Rs 2.53 billion were traded. The previous day, there was a turnover of Rs 2.19 billion.
A total of 103 companies increased in value, 132 decreased while 10 remained stable. Looking at the sectoral indicators, microfinance increased the most by 1.65 per cent. Similarly, life insurance increased by 0.50 per cent. The manufacturing group decreased the most by 1.74 per cent.
Banking decreased by 3.7, development bank by 25, finance by 12, hotel and tourism by nine, hydropower by nine, manufacturing by 121, non-life insurance by two others by four and business group by 20 points.
Even in companies whose prices have increased, microfinance remained ahead. The prices of Gurans microfinance, Win Nepal and Manusi microfinance increased by 10 per cent. Ganpati and creative microfinance increased by 8.3 and 7.6 per cent, respectively.
