Women's Day Cup

Kathmandu, March 13

On the fifth day of the ongoing Women’s Day Cup featuring four nations in Uganda, two matches are being played today.

The first match will be between Namibia and Hong Kong. The second match will see the home team, Uganda, facing Nepal. Nepal’s match will begin at 4:45 PM (Nepal’s time).

Having lost three out of the four matches played so far, Nepal will be under pressure to secure a victory in today’s match.

To keep their chances of finishing in the top two and reaching the final alive, Nepal must win on today’s match.

On Saturday, Nepal lost its first match against Namibia but managed to defeat Uganda in the second game. However, they suffered defeats against Hongkong in the third match and Namibia in the fourth.

The winner of today’s first match between Namibia and Hong Kong will secure a spot in the final.

Nepal will play its final match against Hong Kong tomorrow. Teams that fail to finish in the top two will compete for third place.
