Kathmandu, June 9
The government is giving booster doses against coronavirus to children aged between 12 and 17 years from Friday.
The Ministry of Health and Population made the decision on June 7.
The government had administered doses of Modena and Pfizer vaccines to the same age group.
Sagar Dahal, chief of the Child Health and Immunisation Section, says the booster dose for the age group will be given from June 10 onwards.
“We have instructed them to conduct the programme at the previous vaccination centres and ward office,” Dahal informs Onlinekhabar.
The government has also asked health officials to make sure they administer 0.30 ml for Pfizer and 0.25 ml for Moderna. The department says it will take three months to give the booster dose to children of the said age group.
