Design and Display

The Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25+ look very similar to the S24 and S24+ but with a few small changes. The back of both phones still has a matte finish, which feels smooth and doesn’t show fingerprints easily. The frame is made of strong aluminium and has a matte texture too, matching the back. The camera layout is the same, with three lenses in a vertical line, but the lenses now have thicker metallic rings around them, making them stand out more.

The fronts of both smartphones have thinner bezels than before, giving the screen a more modern and premium look. The bezels are now equal on all sides, making the display appear bigger and more balanced. The hole-punch selfie camera is still in the centre, but it’s slightly smaller because of the thinner bezels.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25+ both feature the Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays that are bright, colourful, and smooth. The S25 has a 6.2-inch screen, while the S25+ features a larger 6.7-inch display. Both screens are sharp, with the S25 offering FHD+ resolution (2340 x 1080) and the S25+ stepping up to Quad HD+ resolution (3120 x 1440) for even more detail. Both displays support a 120Hz refresh rate, which makes scrolling and animations feel incredibly smooth.

The screens are also very bright, with a peak brightness of 2600 nits, so you can easily see everything even in bright sunlight. Both phones come with features like HDR10+ support for better contrast and colours in videos and an adaptive refresh rate that adjusts to save battery when needed. The displays are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, making them tough and scratch-resistant.  Both smartphones are IP-rated with IP68 dust and water resistance for further protection.

Performance and Storage

The Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25+ are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, built on a 3nm process, making it very fast and efficient. The chipset has an octa-core CPU with two high-performance cores running at 4.47 GHz and six efficiency cores at 3.53 GHz for smooth performance for everyday tasks and heavy gaming. The Adreno 830 GPU handles graphics beautifully, making games and videos look stunning.

Both phones run on One UI 7, based on Android 15, which is clean, easy to use, and packed with smart features backed by 7 years of security and OS updates. . Both the Samsung Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+ are available in one RAM variant of 12GB. For storage, the Galaxy S25 comes with 128GB or 256GB options, while the S25+ starts at 256GB.
