Prime Minister to address parliament on the first day of winter session

Kathmandu, January 26

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to address parliament on the first day of the upcoming winter session. The session has been scheduled for January 31.

The Prime Minister’s address on the inaugural day has been confirmed by CPN-UML Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula.

“The Prime Minister will address parliament on the first day of the session,” Bartaula said. He shared that he met the Prime Minister earlier today, during which Oli confirmed his address and asked him to relay the message to the Speaker.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire held discussions today with chief whips from the ruling parties regarding the Winter Session. He is also scheduled to meet with the chief whip of the main opposition later today.
